Dondre Green

This is my dude. I met Dondre less than a year ago but I’ve already worked with him so many times. He is a photographer, musician, magazine editor, he connects with people, occasionally models, he’s starting to make videos about being in the Bronx. I’ve seen him work and thought, this guy is so young and he’s so good, that I’ve worked harder at every step because of him.

Sometimes I catch a cool moment on camera. This was my first time seeing Jesse live, and this was best moment of the show. It felt like the best moment of my week.
Something about this said, "we’re all friends, so let’s have some fun tonight".

I went to Burning Man last year (my photos here and here!) and it was one of the most uplifting experiences I have ever had. I came away from there with such a positive feeling. I knew where I wanted to go in my life. I knew who I loved and who I wanted to share things with just by being there.

I also got to be a part of a kick ass artist collective there called MIZARU which means, “see no evil”. They drove a bus from Brooklyn to Nevada and built an interactive art installation for Burning Man. I got to see them put this together, and watch it bring magic to everyone who stepped into the box.

This is a short documentary I made about it. Please watch and tell me what you think. And if you’re going to Burning Man this year, look for their new installation, and bring loads of chapstick as your gift.
